Scott Frost,
Biography
A life dedicated to
entertainment, Scott Frost was born in
Flint, Michigan USA, raised in a family
of musicians. Since the age of sixteen
he has been a professional entertainer ,
playing, singing and composing various
styles of music for all age groups. He
began as a band member and arranger in
numerous rock n’ roll group’s, touring
the northeast U.S for five years. He
later advanced to show bands, playing
large circuit clubs, touring two thirds
of the USA for eight years, continually
gaining professional studio experience
in the interim. Desiring a deeper
musical challenge, he joined a local
jazz band and toured for two years. Also
touring for one year as an arranger and
band member, he worked with educational
institutions performing anti-drug
musicals and live multimedia
presentations.
Finally deciding in 1989
to move to Los Angeles to pursue a more
satisfying musical adventure, Scott
became a solo entertainer performing at
fine international hotels, piano bars,
dinner clubs, and exclusive private
parties. Utilizing a comedic touch, he
has gained the ability to motivate his
audience, involving them in the fun and
excitement. At times he can change his
voice, to create a believable
performance of some of the greatest
singers of all time including: Neil
Diamond, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles,
Elton John, Billy Joel, Joe Cocker,
Harry Connick Jr., Lewie Prima, and
Michael Crawford's’ style of The Phantom
Of The Opera.
To date Scott Frost has eighty songs
(copyright). A sold Repertoire of
unpublished material, and has
collaborated with other professional
songwriters. Scott co-wrote advertising
jingles, produced and arranged personal
and contracted projects, and has
acquired over fifteen years of studio
expertise. Has two semester’s of music
theory, and patented (#3941638) a new
manufacturing method related to Hi Fi
speaker enclosures.
Scott's forte is playing Jazz, R&B,
Rock, Reggae, Motown, Blues, and Pop
Dance music. He can play dinner music
all night long or he can Rock N’ Roll as
good or better than any you’ve heard.
For the past 14 years, Scott has
performed in Asia, Europe, Scandinavia,
and the United Sates, playing, singing,
making people happy and putting smiles
on their faces.
